another thing......you should only be buying a tight sar hit anyway......that reduces the risk.....and if you hit it right.....you could be out the same day..... i hit BEOS on the hit today......in at 1.06......i could be out already...... and the only other time you should buy a sar is on day 3 after 1 and 2 fail......and day 8 if the 3-5-8 work to perfection...... its just as easy to short off the sar.....short day 1 on a far off hit......short day 5 no matter what...... like i said......in a bull market...the sar works best to get you in before a big long move..... but since we have been in a downtrend for many months.....the sar is used now for pure trading opps.....and getting you out in time to save your butt...... just think......you see a stock rising and chase it.....and then to your disbelief.....the next day its down.....and then the day after it falls further......so you bail for a loss.....then a week later you look at the stock and its running bigtime...... well.....had you known about sar.....you would realize it was a far off hit.....and days 1 and 2 will be down......so you would not have chased it to begin with...and you would know that if it gets to day 8.....you are in for a ride..... the sar can do nothing but help everybody become a better trader..... those who know about it.....and ignore it....deserve to lose their ass over and over again...... and if you take the time to learn it.....you can become a guru to those who have no clue......roll!!!!! i read other threads...and when they mention a stock .....or someone says we are going to rock tomorrow..... i just just look at the sar.....and say to myself.....you poor fool.....you have no clue whats coming...roll!!!!!!
