People convinced they are doing good, when they are actually subverting the law, are the most dangerous people to a democracy (imo). Very true. Which supports my theory that right-wingers are less psychologically developed than most on the left. Which is why they were able to steal Florida, and why the left will seldom win battles in which a dog fight is indicated. The right never let up on Clinton, even though their obsessive focus was destructive and ethically illegitimate. The Democrats will let up on doubya within a couple of months, and he'll probably get reelected. (I never have ceased to be amazed by those interviewed on the networks who felt that the intellectually-challenged doubya "did really well" in those debates!) Never underestimate the right-wing.
