Not if that Washington Post report about Bush maintaining his emphasis on tax cuts.

I think Bush called AG's bluff on tax cuts, indicating that he would permit AG to shove the economy into recession rather than give up the cause, and AG lost.....

But had this occurred 6 months from now, it would probably be a different story.
