An Historic Day by all accounts..Questions proliferate "Where were YOU when the FED lowered its rates"... What were you in, what did you get in.. Thank goodness we were on line and lucid enough to call an instant sell of some puts, but more importantly to call a number of good long trades in that critical 5-10 minute span. My stale sandwich sits still in the microwave as I just let it lay, choosing to hang out for the fireworks. What to do with that sandwich? Should I have it bronzed to remember one of the BEST DAYS I CAN REMEMBER IN THIS MARKET. The Day we had good longs, good shorts and were on top of everything. I am seriously considering doing something to remember today. Days like today make everything so worthwhile, such satisfaction. Anyhow from what I can see, the Earnings Plays might take on a different perspective now. Are they going to rise because there is virtually no overbought over inflated stocks left from our list? Are they going to have increased Anticipatory Upswing BEFORE the report and than sell off? We can only track them as best we could intraday and see.

There are a lot of questions. There were a lot of questions in the room today and on SI. At least we got the continuation of the rally on cue.. As for tomorrow we will check as volatility returns to normal levels, the FEVER of this new exuberance is dissipated and we see what stocks are still moving up and which return to their hibernation and free fall. Remember not ALL breakouts today are created equal. Stocks are more than just 'breakout signals' jumbles of 'doji's, hammers, moving average breakouts, and technical analysis indicator 'triggers', they are as disparate one to another as human beings are more than just conglomerations of ears, heads, torsos and limbs. Each one is unique, each one has a 'pattern' that is technical/fundamental and also a matter of sentiment. We will have to separate those into sub patterns and chose the right ones. The task is daunting but fun.
