Carey,
I have been following Mercury Finance since February. I saw in your May 28th post, the following text:

"Market of not prime auto lending (,000 omitted)
70,000,000 per Geo Evans CEO of Search Cap (lender buying Mecury assets)"

I was wondering what the above statement meant about Geo Evans CEO of Search Cap, a lender buying Mercury assets....? Does this sound like Search Cap is buying out (part of) Mercury Finance?

I read in the Indianapolis Star Sunday May 18 edition, in an insert titled "Indiana, Inc." that UACA is ranked #70 out of 103 Indianapolis Star Top 100 Companies. They showed it had a two-year total annual return of 10.94% (period 12/31/93 - 12/29/95).

In another chart "Financial Companies Ranked by Total Assets", it was ranked 15 out of 38, showing $438,549,000 for 1996 total assets, and $66,974,000 in total 1996 revenues. 1996 Net Income was 22,891,000.

Good luck!
