I know lots of women in their 20's who have other ambitions. You can't rewrite our DNA programming and make women uninterested in mating- nor would it be a very good idea for our species if we did. Since women bear the brunt of child creation they will always be interested in resources from their male partner- I think that may be hard wired. Society has certainly evolved with that idea as well- and since the children of males with resources do better than those without, you will have a tough time fighting reality.

But we have made tremendous strides- I don't see how you can look at the workplace of today and not see that. It is NOT same ole same ole. I have a collection of old college yearbooks that were my fathers- I can guarantee you that things have changed so substantially, in such a short time, I can hardly believe it. It takes my breath away- how many doctors and attorneys and politicians are women now. It is a shortcoming not to be able to see what has been accomplished. You will find it hard to realistically evaluate the challenges ahead, if you cannot realistically evaluate the gains that have been made. For one thing, many people will see you as out of touch with reality.
