Re: Antimissile tests

The test are deficient in another major way. The test protocol attempts -- with almost no success -- to intercept a single missile. This is definitely not a practical test.

You need the ability to intercept multiple targets for a real test. And if the evil enemy can throw up a single warhead they certainly have the technology to throw up multiple warheads and even a few decoys to defeat the missile defense system.

The inability of any ability of the Star Wars fantasy to handle to handle decoys is a fatal flaw. The fact that $100 billion was spent with no workable system in sight is also discouraging.
