actually I was rather flippant when he was calling for a crash at 3K. Frankly I was suprised by the ferocity of the ensuing decline. I was, in fact, looking for a counter trend bounce at the time. He was rather emphatic about the nature of the imminent decline. Luckily, I only played it with a portion of my 401K funds and got out quickly when I realized I was wrong.

I understand what you are saying about a model which does not give timely re-entry signals but I also think there was more to his call than reiterating on incessant sell.
