15 of the 17 best percentage gain days for the Nasdaq occurred in the last year. 14 of them occurred in Y2K, which also was the year of the worst % loss for the index. Strangely enough, each of the high gain days cause the permabulls to taunt the unbullish and declare that the bottom was in.
