Dr. Voodoo,
>>Hope you guys are having a happy new year.<<
While you were away, we've been synthesizing valium analogs to deal with months such as the past three.
Thanks for stopping by with commentary on NZYM, etc. Will keep my eyes peeled if any of those folks you mention get munched or go public. Went so far as to check your profile, which says "chemist." Always glad to have users of the products here. And I see you waste your time with few other stock threads. Trickle is honored.
Wondering if the IPO chute will now reopen. Wondering if we will see more warnings from companies with foreign currency exposure. I had set a target of $20 for TECH today, but didn't fill because I did not set it till after it had recovered from that low. It earned a downgrade. Meanwhile some other companies failed to join the party today. IVGN and WAT, for example. Not sure what happened to WAT. Maybe it's just tired. Been waiting for weakness, first nibble target remains $55 for WAT and $33 for SIAL. More likely to compromise on SIAL. IVGN might have foreign exposure or be down in sympathy with TECH. Might check into foreign exposure in some of the high fliers Trickle recently purchased. Although the Euro is recovering somewhat, if the impacts of its weakness on earnings are real, not just excuses, I would expect to see those impacts reflected for a couple of quarters. Comments, anyone?
A portfolio manager's work is never done. A friend gave me a list of free biotech seminars I can go to here in San Diego. At least three seem tricklish. I am there!
