I was pulling for UW as well. I probably would have anyway (any Pac-10 win makes the whole Pac-10 look better), but it was a must since I'm married to a UW alumni;-)

You were pulling for UDUB....you were pulling?!! You should have done more than pull; it should have been your main priority, especially since you are married to an alumnus. <g>

Actually, I am glad that OSU won its bowl but I wouldn't say it was awesome, just okay!

On the contrary, it was truly AWESOME.

You don't think your judgement may be biased?

In fact, it likely would have been a much more lopsided score if they'd have truly wanted it to be. First, they gave away 174 yards in extremely stupid penalties (well, most of them were stupid anyway). A couple of those penalties enabled ND's first 3 points. Second, they had the scrubs in the whole 4th quarter (which allowed ND's one and only touchdown).

It was as one-sided a game as I've seen in quite a while. Just look at the stats, they tell the whole story:

Notre Dame Oregon St
First downs 18 20
Rushed-yards 37-17 39-127
Passing yards 138 319
Sacked-yards lost 5-42 3-15
Return yards (-1) 137
Passes 13-33-2 17-25-0
Punts 6-41.5 3-39.0
Fumbles-lost 2-1 3-1
Penalties-yards 7-42 18-174
Time of possession 30:13 29:47

I'd bet most of ND's first downs were 'unearned' (i.e. penalty based).

I heard their was a high school team in Indiana that beat Notre Dame in a preseason game. Maybe it was just a rumor.

BTW when you start living, breathing and posting stats
about something, its called an addiction and an AA program can be very helpful. Now don't get angry...just trying to help. hehehehehe.

Sorry, just being an A-hole...congrats, I did not see the game but I heard it was a good one. As for OSU's losing seasons, I bet no one's counting now.....and all is forgiven. ;~))

Losing what? I don't remember no stinking losing seasons!

Alzheimer's again?!
