John, I am unsure of ``Schlumberger'', but the ``Gemplus'' brand GemCore® Lite integrates the T8xC5101 8-bit microcontroller from Atmel. The article states that the two aforementioned companies control 90% of the Asian market, so I would think it should be extremely positive. Sorry I can't be of more assistance. Kent
