From an egroups thread. Check out the League Of Women Voters's website. They have a petition demanding election reform (including abolition of the Electoral College). This is a highly respected, nonpartisan group with significant political clout. They have a long history of working for voters rights, dating back to the fight for women's suffrage prior to the ratification of the 19th Amendmant. While their petition may not be as forceful as some might like, it is GUARANTEED to be seen by Congressional Leaders. You can access the petition here: lwv.org
