Some contradictory signals here.
The US FedRes cuts bank interest rates.
Stock market takes off. We can understand that.
Bond yields rise and prices fall? - TSE O&G index falls.?

Other than investors selling some O&Gs to buy into the latest hi-tech gold rush, why on earth would the O&G index fall.?
A reviving economy will require more fuel. Demand for energy products will increase and support prices more strongly than if the economy wanes.

Maybe there is worse news on the economy to come, than what we already know about.!
