TA, Also think the shorts who made a lot of money recently don't want to see those evaporate. Therefore, they are probably covering and/or going long. This negative indication pre-market will look like the positive pre-market moves in the last couple of months. It won't last...and I expect to see another big gain today in tech. The short interest increases in December in high PE stocks were just too high, given the time of year. Watch JDSU/JNPR/PMCS/VTSS/AMCC today. They may provide some clue to what is happening with the shorts. Shorts got aggressive with these stocks in December. That did not fit with the normal seasonal pattern.
