CET Environmental Services, Inc. Renews Contract With the EnvironmentalProtection Agency; EPA Exercises Fourth Option Period of Existing Contract


ENGLEWOOD, Colo., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- CET Environmental Services, Inc. (Amex: ENV) announces the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has executed the fourth option period with the Company. The period of the contract will be from January 9, 2001 through January 8, 2002. During this option period, the Government can issue contracts for up to $44 million.

Steven H. Davis, President and CEO of CET Environmental Services, Inc. said, "I am very pleased the EPA chose to exercise the fourth option period of our existing contract. We look forward to another year of producing quality and professional work for the EPA. The Company will continue its efforts to expand and strengthen our relationships with our government and commercial clients."

Mr. Davis concluded, "This significant extension of our contract provides a strong foundation for the Company to improve its core business and helps accelerate the achievement of our growth objectives."
