The FED is hopelesly lost in the past, and I fear that they will be late to the party as they always have, Even if the FED cuts there are no guarentees it can jump start the economy.

Could you back that up with data beginning from WW II in terms of interest rate cut effects on the economy and subsequently, the stock market?
