As the market turns positive and creates a trend, rumors will be discounted more easily. Anyone who's followed JDSU and SDLI for any length of time knows how scrupulous they are re: hitting numbers. One quarter SDLI warned on the upside about a month in advance. And they've never had to warn on the downside.
