first of all, let me say that you seem to be pretty good at "guessing" and as I have previously indicated it appears you have out performed me... however, re whipsaw, that is why I have moved to a scale system which buys and sells every move [> 1%] in the NDX. so I have defined away whipsaw, AND I participate in very big move (by definition) thing is, of course, I participate with MUCH smaller amounts of capital as I usually sell just one scale [3 scales max] at a time. of course, it does turn out that I can trade the same dollars over and over again for a period of time. since I have been doing this method for just about two months, we really dont know how it will work yet - but I feel that I no longer have to be a good guesser, and yet the method is not 100% mechanical either (scale and trade size are always being evaluated) whatever works I always say! good luck to you too [of course] Bob
