Well much of what you say I agree with...I think that you misunderstand my position...The most money I have ever made in the stock market was last year albeit primarily short...GS (shorted this morning at $116) is near an all time high due to the 3rd Q release that ended November 24, 2000...Since the all time high is near $133 I don't think a heck of alot of downside is built into the stock...Gold is a precious metal that frankly does not have the shine that it once did...Maybe governmental flooding the market, easier access to reserves, and demand have tempered its rise...I personally expected to get a better pop on PDG since Al Gores presidential coup attempt...The sentiment may well change but as of yet it has not...Peaks and Valleys are the signs of change...

Money and value are both determined by emotional factors...Diamonds value is determined by the desire of its pursuer an of course the desires of De Beers…Gold is not the commodity it once was because its intrinsic value is diminished…

I have an answer for the productivity advancement spurring economic growth without increasing costs (inflation)…Since many of you are well versed in the workings of the western power grid is it not a productivity advancement that this power can be accessed online and purchased without the use of a middleman that would most assuredly take a sizeable cut?
