To All, I bought a third third of Divine Interventure (DVIN) today. This looks like a very low risk way to play the Nasdaq bounce-a-roo, IMHO. For those who don't know, this was a venture capital outfit that has now gotten lean and mean and is buying into some larger tech firms to go with its start-ups. For those who always say that only the rich get invited to play the venture capital/hedge fund game, I say that Divine is inviting you at a nice discount. They have about $2.25 in cash and a number of cos. in their portfolio, any one of whom could be the next Microsoft or AskJeeves. <g> You are effectively getting the portfolio for a negative price, as the cash is more than the price of the stock. However, that may or may not prove to be a huge bargain. I'm willing to take the risk.
