SEA LAUNCH HEADS OUT, GETS READY TO LAUNCH XM SATELLITE ------------------------- The Odyssey Launch Platform and the Sea Launch Commander are on their way to the Equator, in preparation for launch of the XM-1 satellite. Due to launch on January 8th at 10:35pm GMT, the Zenit-3SL rocket will carry the satellite to Geosynchronous Transfer Orbit. Once in position, the XM-1 satellite will provide 100 channels of digital radio throughout the United States.
