SEA LAUNCH HEADS OUT, GETS READY TO LAUNCH XM SATELLITE

The Odyssey Launch Platform and the Sea Launch Commander are on
their way to the Equator, in preparation for launch of the XM-1
satellite. Due to launch on January 8th at 10:35pm GMT, the
Zenit-3SL rocket will carry the satellite to Geosynchronous
Transfer Orbit. Once in position, the XM-1 satellite will provide
100 channels of digital radio throughout the United States.
