I read a piece in the NYT about a couple of Chinese companies selling apology services. They're doing very well, apparently. The Chinese have trouble making personal apologies, as I understood it.

I would like to make it known that anyone who wants me to apologize to any other SI member for them need only ask on this thread. I will render the apology here, send it to them via PM, and post their reply here.

It's best not to let these things fester.
