The federal govnerment already support ethanol sales by subsidizing this non competitive fuel with at least a .05 cent kick back per gallon

Well, considering that the federal government places an 18.4 cent per gallon tax on all gasoline, I think a .05/gallon subsidy on ethanol is justifiable.

As I have stated previously, if there is ANY subsidy that is justifiable, it would be for energy infrastructure.

Without energy being available in quantity and at a reasonable price, the rest of the economy can hardly perform at its peak efficiency.

And I'm not particularly keen on having to justify sending American soldiers off to fight wars over oil.

Ron
