re: NTAP The entire disk drive components sector rallying on positive preannouncment by RDRT (+32%), MXTR +11%, WDC +9%. Did you all notice that the harddrive manufacturers, which are perennial dogs, came out with upside announcements. Lets put two and two together. PC sector is hurting, drive stocks having better earnings, NTAP uses components from drives stocks. Lets take a look at the simple chart. askresearch.com Look at the stoch. Notice how the during the drop from the top double top in Oct, the string of failures pointing downward like an arrow telling you to sell. Notice how now we have a recover before an oversold condition happen. Also, a double bottom of sorts was put in. I see this as the beginning of a base building period that started at 90 and floored at 50, slowing flatting out, it will be harder to see the obvious short signals without the trades being day trades now. imho Greg
