Ali, If it is not more than that, why would people pay any money for it? Because of the second point you asked about (see below). Leaving in place? Ok, it must be very simple... Actually, it's very complex under the covers. But it's very easy for a user to use. The primary benefit is the ability to change a partition without having to back up the data, make the change, then restore the data. I used it most recently to shrink a 1G partition (where I keep my swap file) to 500M. I cut the partition size to 500M, slid the 500M to the end of the drive, and added the 500M that was freed up to the partition before it (where I store data). It took about 5 minutes, as I remember. And this was all from Windows with only one reboot. Try that with FDISK and FORMAT. Dave
