I've been using quotetracker for a while now, and for a free program it's great. Until you upgrade to q charts but people also call that q farts as it has bugs and goes down. However, for a simple real time portfolio quotetracker is useful, you set it at 3 sec refresh. I must have 20-30 stocks on there, and I put the ones I'm following up at the top. I also set alerts, with a .wav file (i.e. noise). So let's say you were watching rambus, as I was today, and it was in its trading range from say 41 to 45. Well if you were scalping you might set an alert at 42, and another at 45, or 46. You can set alerts a tick above or below p&f resistance and support. Or let's say I want to get it again int he 30's, I set an alert there as well. You can set as many alerts on a stock as you want. The alert pops up on your screen whenever the stock hits that #
