What percentage of total PC sales are retail sales? (Higher in December than most of the year, I would think)

I would guess that annually, retail sales are about a third of all sales, but that in December, (though this was horrible holiday sales season) retail sales were half the market.

So Intel's fastest launch ever captured 1/2 of 1% of PC sales.

That sounds about right. Ever since I saw that stack of P4s at Micro Center with the price reduced, I've thought P4 was having a rough go of it.
