There are various proposals for tax cuts. The Republicans withdrew a $350 billion tax cut in December 2000 so they could wait for the next Congress to make it richer. There will be some type of tax cut. One around $600 billion would be acceptable to most. However, one the size of $1.3 trillion is DOA.
