I think Europe, Japan, Asia would love to see US in trouble. The problem is that it would mean even bigger troubles for them. Actually, lots of 3rd world countries are waiting for joining WTO to establish stable credit markets for themelves, and be able to buy the US high-tech products, provided that their cheap products can sell in the US. Of course, their political system must be very stable. No one wants to screw up with the US IMO, unless they are offended & abused by the US military. Just a thought. Q
