Hi cc -- my first reply on this thread questioned whether we even needed another thread. But Yahoo apparently started it (there's no first "post" as Ravi's was, just my first "reply"). And yes I do have some options, for May 01 and Jan 02. But I'm hoping to be out of them well before their expirations. Then I may leave options alone for awhile, or I might sell some calls. That would cause Atmel to jump in price. The problem is that, while I'm still working, I really don't have the time to watch closely. Atmel, in fact, is the only stock I watch on a daily basis.

The Yahoo posters indicated that the Fed lowered another 1/4 point tonight. IF that is so, I think it could have a negative effect on the market in general, basically saying that the economy is in REAL BAD shape. But short term predictions have never been my forte.

Your state is famous now for two reasons: (1) the incoming prez is from there, and (2) you didn't have any problems counting YOUR ballots. Hope your holidays went well for you. Cheers/t
