But there are companies on the NASDAQ that will grow 30,40,50,50,70,75%. I'll have to go back and look but I believe Oracle expects increase of 75% later on next year.

Last time Oracle reported profits, they were up over 60% from year ago. But Sun, EMC, Nokia and many others have good growth prospects.

And congratulations, you and Gail Dudack have been bears for a very long time. She started back in 1998. She was on Rukeyser show b4 they kicked her off because she was always a bear. I imagine that she still is.

I'm not. We may not have a soft landing in the US. Mr. Soros does not believe that we will. Or that's what I read he said yesterday. Then there are the international problems. Wouldn't it be nice if Israel and Palestine would stop fighting? I don't think they will. I do hope that India and Pakistan do not drop nuclear bombs on one another. I wish Russia's economy would improve, and maybe the the US will develop a successful free-trade policy with third-world countries? It's unlikely. Now, I hear Europe is fed up with us.

Still, as long as nuclear warheads don't kill the planet's population, and as long as the oceans don't die this year. I'm still confident that there are companies that will do well. Of course, if a large meteorite wipes out the planet's entire population, the stock markets will sink, but I won't be here so I won't worry.

So enjoy yourself while you can and forget about the stock markets!
