Sounds interesting, though also, to me, dubious. Sure, drug money is corrupting. But a team assembled precisely for a huge enforcement payoff being swiftly destroyed because it worked? How did it get off the ground in the first place? Perhaps I will check on the book.....Legalize now, feed an even larger black market aimed at children, and astronomically larger social costs, like rehab, poverty directly or indirectly attributable to drug problems, and accidents and productivity losses due to increased abuse. More than enough to offset the tax gain......Erie Canal: crucial to making New York the business center of the young nation.......
