Well, the idea of protecting minority interests through fraternal organizations is not inherently racist, nor is aiming entertainment at a unique group of consumers, although you are right, a certain amount of hypocrisy exists about whose ox is gored. I am thinking of the lousy scholarship that seeks to prove that Western Civilization is black. It goes beyond trying to give more credit for the contribution of black Africa, to asserting that somehow Western Civilization was "stolen" from blacks, rather like a high brow version of Black Muslim theology, where the white devils overthrow the benevolent rule of the black man.........
