By what logic would you assume that a slowdown in consumer PC demand wouldn't effect AMD? The AMD stock action isn't special, considering how the stock has been crushed.

AMD sales = total x86 sales * AMD market share

I'm guessing that the increase in term 2 is greater than the decrease in term 1. During the past week, I noticed a familiar pattern in AMD stock. It has started moving upward independently of daily fluctuations in the tech sector. This is the same pattern it had during it's big run last year.
