Dave, RE: Weighed against the risk of paying not only back royalties but also damages, as well as the risk of not getting as favorable a royalty rate down the road (and, of course, we won't even mention the risk of not being able to produce DDR at all), this would be a pretty short-sighted, cut-off-your-nose-to-spite-your-face attitude to adopt.

Note that historically, Micron has taken a knife to its nose on many occasions with little regard to face spiting implications.
