Hi Bosco, NO offence taken about pretension, I was just trying to agree with you on that angle. Maybe I should have added a <g>. <g> I was suspicious about the fed protecting against a shortage of liquidity. I often try to construct a theory of what is happening that is driving "the market". Of course it is more important to notice what IS happening in the market than try to explain why. john
