Won't the subtext always be derision? Isn't that what the political threads came down to? Each side deriding the other? I never saw any cross communication between liberals and conservatives. But maybe I wasn't looking hard enough. Maybe if I combed the entire Bush thread and threw out the 95% of the posts with epithets and derision, I would find something in there that was worth reading. Maybe. But it isn't worth the effort.

I think derision is probably the best you can expect.
