Some stocks don't tank due to Reg S however...

ANCR was around 4 last April (don't know when the Reg S was). It ran up to 41 on hype and then came back down. Now crusing (and pretty stable) in the 5-6 range. Yes, it is underperforming - although if you bought it 16 months ago and held through everything, you have a 25-50% profit in a little over a year which isn't bad, but it has lost 85% of it's value since last May :-). Anyway, the crash wasn't due to Reg S and it's higher than it was when the Reg S came through.

I was there for TWTI... lost about $1K on that one... first, last, and only penny stock where I bought the hype. It also made me feel good (in an odd sort of way) to own 1200 shares of a company, any company.

Fortunately I bailed when I did, or it would have been much worse.
