BTW, I've got to be a little careful here, because of patent considerations. What it amounts to is that this whole class of drugs are antiinflammatory agents, as well as being useful in degenerative diseases. So, a new one will be discovered and tried on some animal model for ( say ) arthritis. ( with me, it was diabetic cataract ).
Serendipitously, the researchers will notice some effect on hair loss/growth. So, this keeps getting rediscovered. Uniquely, Procyte happens to have taken one of them to the FDA-approval stage. Sure Procytes stuff works--- 'most all these agents seem to work, at least a little. BTW, this market is small enough that I would be surprised if Procyte gets competition in it, even tho there are other agents.
BTW, if you want a review on this whole area and its implications, read ( he says modestly ) P. Proctor, Free Radicals and Human Disease, CRC Handbook of Free Radicals and Antioxidants, vol 1, p209. Procytes stuff is probably effective against a lot more stuff than surgery-induced hair loss, etc. if they can ever get the funding. Stuff like altzheimers, stroke, etc.
