mishedlo: that's interesting ... ... re RMBS. I played it as well Oct 99 - early Mar. I swung- and daytraded it most of the way up. Nine times. A few of those were $80K margin daytrades. When it topped $320, I stopped, increasingly fearing an inevitable plummet. Rats -- had I known anything about options at the time, especially wish I'd had experience with puts then, would have taken that conviction a step further and bet on it. <g> I wouldn't do it that way again -- would play options up and down. Of course, I don't believe that RMBS itself will ever run again (4:1 split; plus major uncertainty of core biz surviving lawsuit challenges). Your LEAP put strategy is intriguing. hahahahahaha -- RIMM!!! It sure IS fun!!! Good day to all, 'b-i-a' ###
