Forgive my ignorance but if streaming video means no compression then Nuko's equipment wouldn't be necessary, right? More on that from Westell/Nortel this time: Westell (booth #3019) and Nortel (booth #1527) will demonstrate end-to-end DSL solutions available today using Westell's SuperVision DSLAM and Nortel's Passport ATM switch. The Nortel booth will be demonstrating streaming video and Internet access at speeds up to 8 Mbps using the Passport ATM switch, Westell SuperVision DSLAM and DSL systems. A copper connection will be used to link the Westell booth to the Nortel demonstration, where Westell will serve as one of the remote users from the Nortel Central office simulation, to display the performance of DSL over distance.
