JakeStraw, you may want to go back to 1987 and see how fast
the Dow/Naz rose after Fed cuts.

I will repeat for new comers Principle No:1 in Investing:

Don't fight the Fed.

A corollary to that principle is Tuna's Principle #2:

Don't fight Greenie,

and Principle #3 ( which applies specifically to Shorts-In-General ):

Don't pick a fight you can't win.

Finally, the value of JDSU:

The value of JDSU is whatever the investor thinks it is worth:
2 days ago, millions of investors thought it was worth 37% more
in a single day.

The future is bright for JDSU,

TA

Tunica, How about because the Dow & NASDAQ rose too quickly after the Fed. cut interest rates. Furthermore the economy is still weakening and a lot of companies like JDSU are still over-valued.
