The most recent issue of The Napeague Letter contained the following brief write-up on TRNT:
TRANSNET CORPORATION - TRNT: If you received the Napeague Bulletin that I sent out on the day of the earnings release, on May 13th, you know that TRNT announced disappointing third quarter results. If you would like a summary of them, they can be found on the Napeague Web Page.
I have reviewed the Company's 10-Q Report for the quarter, and came away with more questions than answers. Although I have not yet had an opportunity to talk with TransNet's management, I have posted to the Web Site a list of some the questions that I intend to ask them.
Right now, my feelings very much parallel those of a reader who recently wrote, "I look forward to your analysis on TRNT. I have followed and owned TRNT for over two years and I am pretty much fed up with the lack of progress. I am watching other outsourcing companies explode in growth over the last three years, but TRNT talks about how the next quarter looks bright, then disappoints." Technically, TRNT has been declining over the last month and a half, undoubtedly in part as a result of these disappointing results. Although there appears to have been a turnaround in this trend over the last three days, this move doesn't show any strength due to a lack of volume.
At this point, I am no longer a buyer of TRNT, and I reduced my position considerably after the announcement of the results, although I will continue to monitor the Company and continue to feel that it will prove to be a successful long-term investment.
An Analysis of TRNT can be found at napeague.com - unfortunately this analysis is not up to date..... |
