Most people who are out of jobs r not in the market anyways,
I dont see alot of factory workers who might loose there jobs being to worried about the stock market.
2) Your middle to higher class worker hardly looks at his stocks and will blindly go along with what his broker tells him, and most of these people had dow stocks that didnt go down that much anyway. These people r long termers who r not selling now, why should they when the money is in a ira and they dont get anything for selling. These people have made alot of money in the last few years and not all that upset about giving some of it back
#3 The people who sold at the bottom and didnt buy were idiots that shouldnt be in the market anyways, people who bot on stock tips and did not know anything about the stocks or what they were buying. If someone owned all those stupid dot.coms, these r the type of investors we dont need anyways. But the rich r still rich, and will always look to get richer, its just the way it is. I dont believe the likes of MSFT, INTC< ORCL< CSCO r going under tommorow
I believe it will be business as usual, its just the way of the world. Unless of course you r expecting the United States to no longer be a world power and a third world country, if this is what you r looking to a few years down the road you may be right, but in the meantime I think capitalism is alive and well in America and they want to make money. One last thing,
just because you lose in Vegas dont you always go back?
