Tunica, I personally would consider buying JDSU at $35 & under if they could in fact show continuing growth to support such a multiple.
I arrived at $35 simply because it would then value JDSU at a p/e of around 43 (JDSU est. to earn .80 in e.p.s. per Zacks). Having said that, I need to also say even at that price it may not be cheap.
We really need to hear what happened regarding the qtr. ended 12/13/00 and listen to their statements about business conditions going forward.
