It takes so long to reply to a message I forgot what I was going to say.

Interesting observation about October 1998, that outflows were at record levels prior to the October 15th cut.

Still, I think it is a different environment. Looking back on that pattern then the DJIA was still higher than where it was a year earlier and was only a few months past an all time high.

Here, it's been a year since all time highs. As time goes on, people get tired of the concept that they have a better investment in their interest-bearing checking account than they have in tech stocks. Did you know that where we are trading on the Dow right this moment was where it was in April 1999?
