Let me answer your question.
1. I have a knack for reading short term charts, but actually trading and always having the capital to do so are often not within my grasp. As are many, I am still learning the fine points of risk and allocation. I think only the most conservative investor didn't lose sight of these important factors during the net frenzy. Most who say they did are either lying or missed out on what were historic gains( and possibly losses). In a nutshell; trading, picking, and portfolio management are three different components to successful investing. I provide 1 and am working on 2.
2. I often spend insane hours doing research and at one point decided not to continue giving it away. Why would anyone who took the time and paid their tuition to hone their craft be expected to practice for free?
3. Sometimes I find it easier to pick stocks when I am not emotionally/financially tied to the trade. I have rarely traded more than 5-10% of the stocks I have called
4. Many times I have challenged anyone to review my posts as ScottOnStocks or Jon Scott. I still feel I have the absolute best record of documented real-time calls. Nobody has been able to refute that claim and nobody will.
Click my name and ck my posts for 1 week or 1 year
5. Operating a service is a pain, but it can provide a nice stream of income. America(and the markets in which we invest) are built upon capitalism. Why would anyone who understands this question the logic in doing so.
