DMA, I don't think there's ever been a tax cut I didn't like (except the micro cuts that's target individuals behavior) and your point is well taken. If there is to be a tax cut, it needs to be implemented asap or at the minimum floated that it will be retro-active. For example, if there is any capex stimulus tax package (for example, shortening depreciation time frames) if it doesn't pass SOON, merely "hinted" at, businesses will defer purchases until they see how the law will be written. We don't need to hold the economy hostage to "proposed tax cuts". Time to S*&% or get off the pot. :-)
