mr mark, when I ran the automated nav update it said there were around 250kb to download.

it didn't work, twice, even after rebooting, as evidenced by the nav date displayed by nav status - it remained at 1/1/01. Then I downloaded the much larger 0101i32.exe [2.5MB] and installed from it, rebooted, and the displayed date is still 1/1/01.

Flash: I just now returned to the nav site and suddenly 0104i32.exe is available. Downloading again.
